Fire Department
Cordele’s Fire Department is composed of 21 certified Firefighters which are divided between two stations, Station 1 located on 7th St. N. in Cordele and Station 2 located on 24th Ave W. Our stations are responsible for responding to multiple emergency fire calls, rescue calls, and hazardous materials calls. We respond to almost 350 calls or more per year. Our personnel are all certified as First Responders and we also have personnel cross-trained within Emergency Medical Services and Hazardous Materials.
Ratings: Cordele Fire Dept ranks a Class 3 on the ISO (Insurance Services Org) scale. This rating lowers insurance premiums for commercial as well as residential properties in the City.
