Wesley is a member of Cordele First United Methodist Church. He is also an active member and past president of the Cordele Lions Club and past president of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia.
Married to Tina Bowen Rainey for 20 years, they have two children Wade Rainey and Isabella Rainey.

Cordele City Commissioner Wesley Rainey is a lifelong resident of Cordele, Georgia. A 1994 graduate of Crisp County High School, he is also a graduate of South Georgia Technical College, Georgia Southwestern and Gupton-Jones Mortuary College.
